How to get to Burj Khalifa?

The easiest way to reach the Burj Khalifa is by Metro. Take the red line "MRed" to the "Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro Station" stop, from where you can head straight to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. Given the building's size, it's about a 10-minute walk from the Metro Station, but you'll always be in air-conditioned areas. If you prefer not to walk that much, you can also take the bus to the "The Dubai Mall" stop. The bus lines 27, 28, 29, 50, 81, F13, X22 stop right at the Burj Khalifa or the Dubai Mall.

What are the opening hours of Burj Khalifa?

The Burj Khalifa is open all year round. You can visit the building every day from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The first entry to the observation decks starts around 9:00/9:30 AM. The last entry is always an hour before the closing time of the world's tallest building. During Ramadan, the opening hours may vary slightly.

What are the ticket prices for Burj Khalifa?

Depending on which floor you wish to visit, the prices for entry differ significantly. The cheapest ticket starts from 169 AED, approximately 40.50 Euros. Also, ticket prices on-site can be much more expensive than if you book them online in advance.

Opening Hours, Tickets & Floors of Burj Khalifa

At the Top - 124th & 125th Floor

These two floors are the most visited by tourists at the Burj Khalifa. The view from approximately 456 metres is truly astonishing. Even skyscrapers, which are several hundred metres tall, appear toy-like from this height. The ticket price includes the express elevator ride, outdoor observation decks, and the use of telescopes. Prices vary depending on the time of day. Adults pay 179 AED on-site, and during the "Prime Time," tickets cost 259 AED.

Combo Ticket

A popular excursion combo is the visit to Burj Khalifa and a trip to the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. Those who wish to visit both attractions can avail of a combo ticket for both. A significant advantage of the combo ticket is that you get a 15-percent discount compared to the regular ticket price.

If you want to feel like a VIP, this offer is just right for you. Moreover, the VIP service offers a separate VIP room at the entrance where you can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks. You take a special lift straight up. Even on the 148th floor of Burj Khalifa, you can avail of the snack and drink offerings. These are already included in the price. With this VIP offer, there are significantly fewer visitors on the 148th floor, allowing you to peacefully enjoy the view of Dubai without the hustle and bustle of the other visitors on the lower floors. The experience is rounded off with a brief introduction tour by an on-site guide.

After visiting the 148th floor, if you wish, you can also explore the lower 124th and 125th floors. Here you'll truly appreciate the difference in the offerings. These floors tend to be more crowded.

You reach the Lounge through several special elevators, sometimes even being guided through areas typically reserved for the residents of Burj Khalifa.

You also have the opportunity to visit an outdoor terrace on these floors. It's a fantastic feeling to let the wind blow around your face almost 600 meters up, while being able to look down on Dubai. In the Lounge, you can make yourself comfortable on the numerous seating options and enjoy the 360-degree view over Dubai. In the Lounge, complimentary snacks/sweets and drinks are served. What are the Waiting Times for the Observation Decks on the Burj Khalifa?

If you want to avail of the regular "At the Top" offer, you might face long waiting times and queues on-site. Waiting times over an hour at the counters are not uncommon, and that's just for the ticket. The tickets always include an assigned time when you can visit the observation decks.
